SAFER BY DESIGN

Over the past decades there has been an ever increasing awareness with regards to health & safety in the work place, with employers striving to create a brighter healthier environment for their employees. In doing so, many have inadvertently created problems, by having old concrete floors refurbished with insulating resin floor systems, not realising that their old floor was anti-static prior to the new surface being laid.

Problems can manifest themselves in many ways, and can be just merely a slight electric shock through to being the cause of fire or explosion. This need not be the case, resin floors can be readily formulated using Conductag or Conductag ëGí to convert what was formally an insulating product into an anti-static one.
