COPPER
EARTH STRIPS
When an anti-static floor is laid onto ground floor concrete there
is usually enough electrical dissipation to ground, therefore the
addition of further earth strips is unnecessary. However if an anti-static
floor is laid on an insulating sub-floor, whilst it would create an
anti-static floor surface of equal potential, it is far better include
copper earth strips, which would be subsequently connected to the
building earth point, to provide the end user with an anti-static
floor not at equal, but at ground potential.
